There isn’t a right way to enjoy G Scale. Whether it is run indoor or in the garden, large layouts or small, modelling prototypical operations or just enjoying the trains go round – everyone has their own way to enjoy our hobby,.

There are thousands of G Scale layouts around the UK in gardens, attics and spare rooms – but unless you know where they are tucked away, you may not have come across them before. When people hear about ‘garden railways’, they often believe it takes a large investment and acres of land. That isn’t the case and we’ve featured layouts from a handful of our members below to showcase their layouts and tell their story.
